Q: Hiv + And Liposuction

Im am interested in getting a tummy tuck and/or lipsuction, im hiv and aside from that in good health I found out from a friemd they do blood tests before surgery does this mean a hiv person cannot have plastic surgery and if they can what if any additional risks are there due to my hiv status..????

I would think you would still be able to get the surgery. They cannot really turn you away because of that it would be discrimination. Unless your body is less likely to heal. They may just want to know as a precaution. Just like with having a baby and such. Just so they know.
