It seems that you may be experienceing neither heart nor nerve damage but a psycho-emotional disorder. Perhaps depression is the primary cause for the symptoms you describe. Therefore, you can focus energy on your mental AND physical health...especially with regards to your weight. Without a decrease in body weight, you could create heart problems that will manifest in the future. I would recommend speaking to a mental health specialist for guidance, perhaps specifically a psychiatrist who can prescribe medications if needed.
