Q: I'm New!!! And Confused!

Hey everyone my name is cherri, i'm only 17 and I have a question about those new clearblue easy digital pregnancy tests. Before I ask my question i'll give you some background info: my last normal period was in october and in november it was a little lighter than usual and now this month I didn't have one at all. Now to the question, I took one of those clearblue easy digital pregnancy tests and it said "not pregnant" on the little screen but when I ejected the testing stick I seen a faint second blue line. Whats up with that? I asked the same question on another forum but I did not get any answers. I was hoping someone could tell me what that second line meant! Could it have been too faint for the test to say positive or what? Some say those tests aren't as reliable as the others but if anyone has an opinoin on this tell me!! I'm freaking out and so is my b/f! I wanted to take a home test before I went to the doctor to see if I could find out anything but it just made things even more confusing! I really want to find out so I can start taking my vitamins and such. So please if you know anything about these tests tell me!!!

Well sweetie, I suggest another test, I have no experience with the new digital ones, so I can't tell ya what it means, but on a regular test a line is a line! Try another test, maybe an ept!

Hey Cherri!
Wow I had the exact same thing happen to me in the same last few months! Only in november my period was 2 weeks late and really light at first then it was just all messed up! It was not normal at all and come to find out i'm ten weeks along! Sorry I can't help you out with the test thing though cause I don't know much about it. But i'd say there wouldn't be a second blue line if there wasn't any hormone in your urine to put it there. I could be wrong but thats just my opinion. I'm sure at least one of these girls on here should be able to help you out. They've helped me and many other girls with all sorts of problems! If you have any more questions pm me or something cause i'll be happy to help!

Thanks
Well I plan on taking another kind of test probably next week if there's still no af. I also still have another one of those digital tests cause the box came with two tests. In a few days, probably friday or saturday, i'll take that an see if I still get the same thing. And then an e.P.T. Test next week like I said. Thanks for the advice and if you can hear of anything about those tests please tell me!!

I'm from southern illinois cherri! I tried to pm you a minute ago when you wrote me but it wouldnt let me send it! So you're from the chicago area? I have family up there. I looked on the clearblue easy website and I didnt find out any info on there but if I find anything i'll tell you! There should be a 1-800 number on the box so if I were i'd call it. But i'll keep lookin and asking around to see if I can find out anything for ya! Good luck
