Hiya, this is my first post. In october I was in hospital with severe abdomen pains, I got ultra sound and mrcp scan which found no gallstones, though the doctors said the most likely cause for the pain was that i'd passed one. They found a serous cyst on my pancreas(it's causing no problems)which i'm waiting to have removed. The past couple of days I have been getting the same pain I was getting in the days before I was admitted to hospital. My question really is, if there was no stones in october can it be gallstones now? Do they form and cause pain in a short time? Thanks in advance floss x

Had my gb out about 7 months ago I had many stones. Doc told me stones take years to form.
