Hey today I realised that my period was 2 days late from when I was expecting it and its normally early from what I expect it to be, so I convinced my bf that we should test since we already had some tests laying around. So I went to the bathroom did what I had to do, cleaned the stick off, put it in my hoodie and walked into his room, sat beside him, took a breath and pulled the test out of my hoodie, we looked down and there it was I really didnt think it would happen, but it did. I always knew I would have kids before my brothers my whole life, but I never thought I would be 17 and preggo.

So now that I got the positive what do I do now? Im skipping the last 2 blocks of school tomorrow so I can go to planned parenthood, I just need to find where they are downtown. I have a card from planned parenthood from my planning class so it should help.

Once I talk to my doctors or whatever I do, I am planning on telling my mom first by just blurting it out. That way I dont have to stress so much... Shawn is trying to get a job now, and I told him he has to have a job before I tell my dad and grandparents or they will kill him, also he will have to ask me to marry him or they will kill him. Though we were already talking about getting engaged this summer but I guess it has to happen earlier then that now.

you're welcome. So how does the boyfriend feel about it? I assume if he is looking for a job, he is happy about it. Good luck telling the parents!

Congrats :) please do keep in mind that you and your boyfriend don't need to be engaged because you're pregnant. I realize parents can be difficult about that, though, but sometimes it can cause more harm than good. After all, you're young and it's good to keep your options open. Just wanted to throw that out there... Take care.

Yeah I know about the engaged thing but we were already planning on getting engaged this summer so I guess it dosnt really matter. Plus if me and him are engaged he can have another person in his car cause he only has his n (bc canada rules for young drivers) so yeah though once I start to show then he can anyways so I unno.

As for my bfs parents I think his dad wont car, his mom will be made and happy at the same time and then his step dad will be furious

Everything will be alright.
I just turned 17 in january and i'm not 15 weeks.
It's scary at first.. But the more I think about it, the more excited I become.

Congratulations on everything, and I wish you the best!!
