Hi,
i went to the neurologist and he said I probably have tn. My teeth has been soo sensitive to even cold air hitting them. Sometimes the pain goes away but like today it has been horrible. This is all new to me. They took blood today and in a few days I have to have an mri of the brain to rule out ms and a few other diseases. When I asked the doc what was wrong with me he said tn but he didn't know what was causing it. So he is increasing my med to 2700mg of gabapentin for the pain. So am I suppose to be a drugged out zombie for the rest of my life with constant chronic extreme pain?

Please somebody out there help me...Three hours ago I just thought my problem was temporay. I had leiomyosarcoma uterine stage 4 cancer last summer and had 4 months of chemo. I just celebrated my 1 year survivorship. This can't be happening to me again. Did the chemo cause this? The doc says no cuz I haven't had it all along. It just started a couple of months ago. I went to two dentists and the last one said he couldn't do anything for me. I think I am being punished by god for not going to church on a regular basis and not being the christian I should be. Where did this come from, out of the blue...The pain is soo bad. I have to drink with a straw and after I eat the horrible pain comes. I've heard that this is also called the "suicide disease".....I can see why if this is what I have to look forward to for the rest of my life, which my onocologist says is going to be over within the next 5 years. God, I should be on a soap opera or maybe the lmn movie of the week. This soo sucks....

Well i've gone on and on but ya'll are the only ones I have to talk to who can maybe give me some insight.
