New Here,but Really In Need of Advice..... Posted: 12-30-03 20:19pm
I just joined yesterday because I started
to get very worried about being pregnant.I
go to school in alabama, but im from
ohio(where I am right now) and that is
where my bf is from too, so I would really
like to know what is going on so I know
the next steps to take.
The last time I had my period was at the
end of september. I have a history of
missing periods for like a month. Like I
missed one in may.....But then I got it in
june. Well I haven't had a period since
september. A week after I had my period I
came to see my bf and that was the first
time we had unprotected sex(which I know
is wrong)...But we had a lot of it. A
week after my period was due I went to get
a test done. I know I took it at
night...And they had to force me to pee.
But the doc swore to me that if it was neg
then I wasnt preg at all. So I just
stopped thinking about it. Well obviously
its dec now and about to be jan in just a
day or so... And still no period. I took
a test last night...It showed a line to
say it worked, but I thought I messed it
up cuz in the other window was just a blob
of pink! So I took one when I woke up
this morning...It was negative. There r
so many people here that have had the same
thing happen to them and they ended up
pregnant. But I dont know what to do!
Its negative so many times...So that means
no right?I know this is not a good thing,
but ive been drinking alot.... And
smoking illegal things(i think u know what
I mean). Do u think that is effecting the
recent testing?Ive just been feeling kinda
sick...And having major a**
heartburn(weird for someone who ever burps
in her life) someone pleaze help
me!!!!!!!!By the way, im 18!

You should really cut down on the drinking
and smoking illegal substances until you
get a blood test done to determine whether
or not you are in fact pregnant. Go to
the doc's and request a blood test, not
urine and it will give you an accurate
answer
The only sure way is to go to a doc. And
as she said, please stop the usage until
you know if you are preggo!

Just because the hpt's are saying no does
not mean no ... I for one know from
experience I have missed my period once
before n that was in july I didnt have one
in july had one in aug. N sept. But
then started missing them......... But
like you I didnt have my period since
september which was the last time I had
one then missed oct/nov/dec.... Went to
the doc dec 17th n found out I was preg.
But all my hpt's were negative also so I
thought ok I guess that sumthing is
seriously wrong with me n thought but I
couldnt be preg bc all the test I took
came up neg..... So best thing for you
to do prolly would be to quit that
drinking and smoking drugs and get to the
doc n find out!!!! Cuz I didnt know and
I had drank a very few times before I
found out bc I thought I wasnt since the
test said no but went to the doc and they
said otherwise!! Best of luck to you!!!!

also the drinking n smoking wont affect
the test
and you may not of gotten preg. When u
think you might have if by chance you
are.... Bc when I went to the dr she said
she didnt think that I was as far as by
the date of lmp and that I could be only a
few weeks and could of gotten preg any of
that time I wasnt having a period bc she
said just bc you dont have a period doesnt
mean your not ovulating so maybe u werent
before when u thought might of gotten
preg. But then got preg later on or u
could of gotten preg. When u think u may
have again if by chance you are preg.
Hope this has helped you please get to the
dr and stop drinkin n smokin that just in
case at least til you find out if you are
or not.... I understand completely about
doing it bc the test say neg. Bc I did
(drink a time or two) but now u know its
definitly a possibility and u should at
least stop til u know for sure!! Good
