Well about two weeks ago I had unprotected sex on feburary 15th(i know I know, irresponsible....But he pulled out so keep that into perspective). On the following sunday (the 19th) I started my period. Which was about a week and a half early. Im on ortho tri-sprintec and I missed my pill on the 16th (i took it on the 17th with my other pill about 7 hours later than I normally do). And now on march 1st my period still hasnt stopped nor has it gotten any lighter. Im still taking my pills regularly every morning and havent missed since the 16th. Im really worried, im not sure whats wrong with me. What are the chances of me being pregnant?

An extra long period isn't usually a sign of pregnancy. It could be something as simple as your pills have thrown your hormones off balance and you will be back on track at the end of the twenty eight day cycle.

If your cycles are still funky after the twenty eight day cycle, its time to call the doctor and get an exam. I had long periods every other month, last month it lasted twenty five days! Anyhow it was determined that I have a cyst on my right ovary which is throwing my hormones out of whack every other month.

Long Period
My girlfriend started Ocella 2 weeks ago and she started it the day she started her period as her doctor recommended. It's now 12 days after she started the pill and her period. But she is still on her period. Is this fairly common? Are there any health issues related to having long periods like this?
