Q: There Is Hope!

Hi

i just wanted to write a message letting people know you can get better, it may always be in the back of your mind what happened but you can start living your life and not existing.

I suffered from terrible anxiety and panic attacks for around a year. From being a emotional wreck I have become stronger and realise that my anxiety did me a favour, it showed me the changes I needed to make in order to live a better life. It was a hard lesson to learn but I have reaped the benefits now. I do have some anxious times but i`m in control of them now, I live normally, I go out socialise and do all the things I never thought I would again.

Its just a little message of hope to everyone, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Good luck everyone x

I am still taking it at the moment, I think it has been around 6 months and it certainly has helped me through the worst of times. I take 20mg at night, I missed taking it for 2 days which wasn`t clever as I felt a bit funny. My doctor wanted me to take it for at least six months so fingers crossed I will be off it soon!

Amen to that! Anxiety and depression can't really kill you, but they're a huge challenge on a mental level. Feeling of unreality can be especially demoralizing.

But at the end, you come out a stronger person, with much experience and insight gained over the course of your struggle.

Keep fighting everyone! :d
