Does anyone else get this? Right now I feel like I can't even hold my head up or open my eyes without feeling really dizzy and like i'm gonna pass out. I've never had this before to this extreme. Just about 2 nights ago at the Dr.S they gave me a shot of something, though I dont know what, to calm me down, it was a big shot in the hip. I don't know if it's the after effects of that or what but i'm sooooo dizzy! Anyone else get bad dizziness or what are your thoughts on this? Will taking an ativan make me more dizzy?

Hey backhome:

hows it goin? Here I am again. It amazing what anxiety can do to our bodies, huh? I know that dizziness can be caused by anxiety. It can feel like you are light headed or kinda woozy and can be accompanied by a feeling that you might faint or pass out. I do also know that ativan can cause dizziness and drowsiness. The doc gave me some of this to take home after my first panic attack to take in case I ever felt panicky again. I never have taken them, so I can't really give you personal experience, but I do know that it can make you dizzy. You should not drive or anything like that after you have taken them. I remember him telling me to make sure and take each does with a full glass of water and take only the amount he recommended. I hope this helps. I wish you the best and I hope you feel better. Keep in touch!

Hi, I know the first time I was prescribed ativan the dose was too high and made me extemely dizzy. If you've never taken it before than you don't know the effects it will have on you, if the dose is right or not. This is just my experience, hope it helps.

i work at a nursing home and while i was helping a patient to the bathroom all of a sudden felt extreme dizzeness beyound compare, the room was literally spinning in circles, i had to leave her and go tell the nurse cause i was so scared. it was so bad i was bumping into things as i was walking down the hall. i have never felt that in my life, she gave my a glass of water so i drinked it, and everything was still spinning, i felt so nauseaed and ran to the bathroom, i had really horrible diarrhea and gas, but made myself not throw up, the dizziess didnt stop till i got home and went to sleep.(felt extremely tired from getting dizzy for so long) my dad had to pick me up from work cause it kept getting worse. i dont know if im pregnant, if its stress working night shift (11pm-7am) five days a week (full time), or lack of sleep, or my horrible back pain from lifting patients, i dont know, but that was the worse hour and half of my life.

i have recently had a very odd dizzy spell after a period of sexual activity...not sure if straining caused the dizziness...due to ear issue?? Or what! I am still experiencing it the following day...not as bad. I put homeopathic ear drops in last night and this morning...but still dizzy. Any suggestions? Personally I think I strained my inner ear somehow during climax and sex
