Q: Strange Situation?

Hm ok, so here is my situation. Awhile back I was on antibiotics and I didnt realize that they would interfere with my birth control. I decided to take a test even though I didnt miss any periods and it was positive. So I made a doctors appointment, for two weeks after that date and stopped my birth control. Randomly I took another home test, and it was negative. I took another one about a week later and still negative. I called the doctor and he said it was prob just a false positive and not to bother comming in. So I didnt. Now im due to get my period in 4 days and im really in terrible pain. Ive been on birth control to regulate my periods and reduce cramps and such for over 4 years now. So basically im wondering if these sound like signs that im getting my period soon, or that I should take another pregnancy test?

Lots of lower back pain
cramps in my lower abdomen, like right above my pubic area
constipation
nausea
weight gain/bloating

i know that some of these symptoms occur in pregnancy as well, and I would be about 7 weeks along now if that were the case?

I havent had a regular period in so long I just have no clue. Thanks!

You should have gone to the docs ne ways just to b sure. Make an appt now to get checked out but it could be your boody reactions to no birth control after having it for forever

I can't believe the doc told you not to worry about coming in. The least he could have done was let you get a blood test, for god's sake.

Like macysmama said, make an appointment. Even if it's with a different doctor. They can't tell you how you feel or make a diagnosis without even seeing you. That's ridiculous, and it makes me mad even thought it hasn't happened to me! Lol good luck!
