:? With my luck this post wont help, but
I don't know where to go or ask for help.
Its not me in need of help- though i'm
sure so many say that, in this case it's
true. I'm scared-a long time friend of
mine, 9-10 yrs now to be exact, has just
told me she's a demon- my mother has been
studying psychology and related topics for
awhile now, so I consulted her- she is
very open minded and suggested a few
options, the base option and the one she
though most likely the cause,
schizophrenia, the other, possession. I
guess I should tell about what my friend
has been saying- she called me up the
other day and after talking a few moments-
asked me to hold. I agreed, I could hear
her talking in some language I could not
make out- I am not fluent on any foriegn
language myself, but am not ignorant to
how to dipict the origin of the languages,
and this one I could not- when she
returned to the phone I asked her if she'd
been speaking another language, because
she had not told me she was learning any
language in school, and I thought she
would have, she replied with 'yes, that is
what I called to talk to you about.' she
then proceded to tell me that she was a
demon, however, that demons are not how
people depict them, they arn't evil or
bad. She explained to me that on earth
people are 'shells' and that some contain
angles and some demons. She said that
'hell' is notbad either. That "beyond the
flames' demons live peacfully, and there
is no torture. She said that in every
lifetime she is sent here to 'free the
demons from their shells, so that they may
return to beyond the flames, so that earth
will once again only contain angels.' now
as you can imagine,i was getting a little
freaked out at this point. I believe a
lot and am very open minded, but this was
just freaky. Let it also be known at the
begining of the call she had talked about
messing around with tripple c or also
known as coricedin, the over the counter
cough, cold medicine, the whole time she's
explaining all of this to me she's having
a conversation in the backround, in this
forign tongue, with some guy. She puts
him on the phone and he tells me that in
order to 'free yourself' you must make
your heart stop, and that he's done it
through meditation. She ended up getting
back on the phone with me and telling me
that I am a demon as well and that she
needs to free me so that we may finish our
'mission', I told her at that point that
it was a lot to take in and I needed to
think about it, and that I would call her
later. She asked me if I thought she was
crazy, and my reply was that I didnt say I
thought she was... I had a nightmare last
night that she came to my house. It
scared me so bad and made me sad as well.
She's been my best friend for so long, but
like I said it's just freaky, could this
be some kind of schizophrenia, maybe
brought on by an overdose? I've been
asking around and have been told that the
tripple c, when overdosed on, is like an
acid trip? I don't know what to do. I've
told her parents, she's only 20 years old.
I'm scared. I believe in possession, but
I think it's less likely of the two.
Please someone help me. I dont want to
lose my friend and the way she's talking
know is scareing me.

U gal friend need help, will be hard for u
to get her into hospital.
I got schizophrenia. I use risperdal
start with 3 mg. 2 mg at nite, 1 mg at
the morning. Last me 4 months to have
the effect. I don't know how your girl
friend will go. And what she got.
The complete treatment depend on person.
Some less then 2 yrs. Some more then 2
yrs.

Hey there
It sounds like schizophrenic behavior to
me. It often manifests in this form. What
can trigger this is highly stressful
situation whether at school, bf, work etc.
Some drugs such as triple C can enhance
the halucinations, Also some vision and
eye disorders can cause hallucinations.
All these combined can result in odd
behavior. Schizophrenics can be very
persuasive and often seems like they are
talking logically and telling the truth.
You need to do a research and see if she's
under stress or taking drugs , tell her
parents and get help.

If you're there maybe you can tell us how
your friend is doing now. Sorry you didn't
get more replies to your post. Sounds like
one of the types of schizophrenia. I don't
think it's real posession. If it was,
wouldn't the demon would be talking more
sense?. I have major problems with the
devil.

Aren't there a plethora of symptoms of
possession, even none at all at times, I
don't think that there are a set number or
a set few types of symptoms for
possession.
Please indulge us philo, tell us about
real possession.
How would you explain her speaking in an
unknown langauge, one that she didn't even
know?
Maybe all mentally ill people are actually
possessed and not the other way around.
Poor kid is probably dead if she didn't
get help, and we all know how hard help is
to get don't we?

table? because i am much like her, and
what she said made alot of sense. only one
problem, simple beginner-shaman mistake,
she wants to control others. wants to
control YOU. madness ought to groom
itself. stay inside itself, stop trying to
change others, that's not her mission,
she's easily misled.
yeah, i'm a "shell", plus more. by default
i would agree, many humans are the shells
of the spirits who own them, the
condensation at the center of a cloud of
spirits which the christians call the
"cloud of witnesses". one percent of us
are called to be a bridge between the
worlds. many refuse the request, and
suffer forever. i accepted my role.
once i made your first interpretation.
went to the pdoc, tried the drugs. very
nice, but had nothing to do with my
"spiritual problem", which by the way, is
a valid category in the DSM-IV.
i also tried your second theory,
posession, or i should say my friends and
relatives did. i usually said ok to being
exorsized, but would freak out at the last
minute and refuse to go through with it.
but once, with the extra push of a
girlfriend's encouragement, i went through
with a catholic exorcism. interesting
experience. comforting, at the end. saw a
twisty grotesque cat come out fo my left
shoulder, fly up into the church ceiling.
that night, i went to the demon world,
looked around, out of curiosity. it was
like walking around nagasaki after the
bomb. buildings and infrastructure, but
desolate, abandoned. no more demons to be
seen! i searched the demon city, and found
just one, looking disillusioned, dejected,
sitting in a basement at a desk, writing.
we got right to work together on calling
down more demons. and within six months,
just like new orleans after hurricane
katrina, we REPOPULATED...
I'm a demon eater. a shaman. I listen to
demon language. she's right, nothing to be
afraid of, just infinite knowledge. we are
like fish to them, they aren't planning
fish-kills all the time, they have their
own lives, though they would kill a fish
for fun or without thinking about it, if
the opportunity arose, and some do track
down and kill fish for sport, others
"protect" and help save "fish" -
i am half human and half demon. demons
placed a demon soul inside me at age 5. it
matured when i was 35. the demons showed
me my magic. i live with them in the demon
world, and also maintain a human body in
the human world. dual citizenship. i
propose peace, a sobornost between the
worlds. but you know how it is for world
leaders. we still end up fighting huge
wars from time to time.
my advice (and from the above post you can
tell the mindset of the person this is
coming from): she sounds like a leader for
the spirit world. she may need training,
it's a jungle out there. see a
professional shaman.

Just to make something clear, I didn't
mean to say I have problems with the real
devil, just devil-like phenomena. I
approach it as an agnostic, and I don't
claim to know for sure what is real here.
I surmise though it's a part of the psyche
that acts that way, it's nothing from
"outside". I have a psychiatric book about
posession and the daimonic and there's an
article claiming that the "devil" stems
from unresolved issues with the father
figure, which manifests itself as the
devil. An exorcism involving talking to
the "father" and the "mother" inside the
mind of the patient is described.

People, please try to keep metaphysical
discussions with only anecdotal and
hearsay evidence off of this forum, there
are people here looking for help and I
don't want to keep deleting posts. There
are no demons, there is no possession, no
one can eat demons, stop it.

1. Metaphysical refers to talking about
things that deal with supernatural events,
ie, events that have yet to be explained,
often using language that exploits terms
that essentially have no real meaning.
2. Anecdotal means basically based on
personal stories. Such stories,
unfortunately, are 99% of the time over
exaggerated and the person basically makes
up memories they believe what they think
so much.
3. Hearsay means heard it from someone
else but did not experience it yourself.
All the information above about demons and
so forth is only based on these two things
and only ever has.

Well.... Shortly after my post I found out
she got pregnant...She had a baby in jan
'07 I didnt talk to her almost that whole
time... she doesnt take the drugs
anymore... she wouldn't go see someone for
help ever either... she doesn't talk about
the demon thing either... though... I dont
know if she believes it or not... I'm
thinking it was the drugs and not
schizophrenia
