Q: 18 And Have Endo
asked by: FreckleFace on February 28th, 2006

Im 18 yrs young.

And for awhile now I would go to my gyn and pcp and they would say "oh it is your hormones, your young' or "if you have a yi there is over the counter meds" and I would tell them, I thought there was something seriously wrong with my uterus/or period.

I thought I had tss, but they did nothing over that even with all the symptoms.

So I think they will not credit me for, or believe me when I tell them fri I have endo. I have every single symptom. And I have pain wit heverything that is related to endo.

I even have severe allergies around my period.

So I think because im 18 they will not test me.

Is it true it is only diagnosed by surgical procedure? Because im willing to take that b/c I know I have it...

Or are my docs going to give me a blood test that will mean nothing.

im so frustrated. Please respond.

Yep the only way to be diagnosed is surgery but the surgery is minor and its usually only a day proceedure ive just turned 19 I had my surgery 4 days after my 19th I was put on the list for the operation when I was 18 it shouldnt mean anything diff with endo coz of your age
