I have also been in for a ultrasound of the gallbladder and nothing was found. My chief complaint is a burning at my last rib on the right side with ocassional stabbing pains. My question is...With people that have had actual gallbladder attacks...Did you have the intense burning sensation with it? I've read quite a bit on the attacks and have not found much on this particular symptom.

For myself can't say it was a burning type pain, just the typical gb attack pain. But everyone interprets pain differently. I did have the stabbing you describe. I had a number of tests, ultrasound being one & they did not show anything, but my gallbladder was diseased.
