Movement??
Posted: 02-27-06 21:37pm

Hi ladies! I will be 26 weeks preg this week and I am feeling the baby move, but it isnt a lot I mean only when I sit or lay down and sometimes when im standing or walking but still it doesnt seem like much, I was wondering if I could be concerned or do some people just not have a very active baby. Thanks for all the responses!!! :d

Not Feeling Much Movement
Posted: 02-28-06 12:40pm

You are definitely far along enough to feel movement. Have you had an ultrasound done? Ask your doctor about anterior placenta's. It means that the placenta is placed at the front of your uterus causing it to act as a cushion between you and the baby and therefore you might not feel as much movement. I have an anterior placenta and I too will be 26 weeks this week. I feel very little movement and only once or twice a day. Every baby is different though and the position the baby is lying in makes a difference as well. If it's facing your back, you won't feel it move. I hope this helps! Try not to stress. I'm sure everythings fine. I've heard of women who have that anterior placenta thing and they don't feel any movement the entire time they are pregnant!

Actually, my reply had nothing to do with your reply. Sorry if you thought it did.
