Hehe still no real progression!! I thought for sure last night, but nooopeee nothing this morning! How lame and typical! I have a doctors appointment I just may threaten to never leave her office and jump around on the beds like a crazy monkey till they induce! Mmmm that sounds like a good plan!

Hun you dont want to be induced, I went natural and the contractions are strong enough and if u get induced they are a few times worse. I never got induced with either labor although they wanted to this time cause my waterbroke and I hadnt had any contractions but I was stubborn and made them wait(yeah dr got pissed) but when labor started it happened oh so quick. I got oxytocin after having elisa cause I had postpartum hemorraging and f*ck did the contractions after hurt more than the incredibly labor so imagine what they feel like elsewise they gave me a shot of demerol for afterpains but I was so happy when they took me off the i.V after 24 hrs.

Im not trying to scare you but you really have to be mentally ready for labor and my mother stood by my side and wouldnt let me even talk of pain meds with elisa with cameron I had half the dose of nubain because of close it was to his birth nubain is (gravol and morpheine) it didnt take away the pain from contractions but I was able to relax in between!

My doctor says that the contractions only feel worse when your induced because you pretty much go into hard labor right away instead of having those other stages that build up, so it's like wham, there you are. People who are induced usually have a shorter labor too (because you don't have to go through the other stages)..So I don't think inducing is a bad way to go.

But we shall seeee...I know she wont induce me because she's a crap doctor who wont even check me to see how dilated I am. Knowing my luck she will be against inducing ever, and make me keep this baby inside forever if that is what it wishes. Humph, stupid broad. Next time I am sticking with my family doctor and not going with an ob...My family doctor is amazing and he used to deliver babies but then he got so busy he gave up his hospital privliges, but was still willing to take me until I went into labor and then I would just get delivered by whoever was on that day at the hospital, but I felt bad cause he is a very busy man so I let him refer me to a ob...But shes so stupid. I have no clue how she got her medical licence. Hopefully she wont be on the night I have my baby...Although I met some doctor the second last time I went to the hospital and he was even stupider then her...Lol so maybe i'd rather have her then him. The last time I was at the hospital there was a lovely doctor on...Ahaha I want her!

Lol I don't think I can this late in the game and there really isn't a point as i'm 39 weeks on friday.

I had my appointment today and when she felt my belly she was really shocked that the baby was down so low, she said her head is right in my pubic bone now and with hearing how my hospital visit was (still 1-2 cm dilated, and 70-80% effaced) she said she'd put her money that i'll be going any day now...So I am just waiting. Me and mom went talking around the mall and I had spicey thai noodles and started to feel really crampy and hot and I was getting contractions a lot while we were walking that was slowing me down so we came home...But in the car ride things seemed to have calmed down (argh!).
