Thats what I was always told. They cnt pick up the heartbeat til 8 weeksish ne ways. Go to the store and buy a bottle of folic acid if you are worried about it. Thats what I take with a flinstone cuz I hatethe smell of prenatals

My doctor doesn't see patients until they're 8-10 weeks. I think it's lame but I guess there's really not much point in going in before then anyway. So my first appointment isn't until i'm 9 weeks. If you have any questions or concerns before then you can call them. Someone from my doctor's office just called me to ease my mind a bit (i had a miscarriage in october) and she said I could call her with any questions leading up to my appointment. As for folic acid, I take a prenatal vitamin that I bought at the pharmacy. I don't really like it because it's huuuuuuuuge and leaves a bad taste in my mouth (and turns my pee green!) but I suck it up and take it every day. I think i'm going to ask for a prescription at my appointment because i'm hoping the pills will be smaller and easier to swallow.

I take .Prima.Care.O.N.E (periods just there for the caps... Stupid site). It's a purple gel capsule, and I have no problems with it at all. Doesn't smell or taste bad. A friend of mine said she thinks she took the same kind when she was preggo and it turned her pee green, but it hasn't done that to me.

you take flinstone vitamins? My husbands mom bought me some because I won't take the pre-natals. I hate taking pills and I always feel like i'm going to choke on them.

Screw that, the drs here will see u soon as u have a on a hpt ok they cant pick up a heartbeat but they provide information on how to start a pregnancy being healthy etc telling you what you need or if ur taking meds everything is brought up as well they will usually do a pap if u havent had one to make sure u pregnancy will run smootly and that the cells are normal!!!


Flinstones rock you can even buy generic brand that has the same amount of nutrients I get mine from cosco I pay 10$ for 362 vitamins a year supply and me, my daughter and hubby all take them we take 2 but even then its a incredibly bargain..............Prenatals suck and I have choked on them I had to force myself to puke to get it out I choked twice but once really bad where I was having a hard time breathing cause the so f**king big(horse pills) I tried cutting them and adding them to my juice(and thats bloody disgusting talk about puke factor)

Yup my doctor told me to take 2 flinstones but then the other doc said to take just one but they are so tasty I wanna take 2! Except grape grape is gross!

This isn't quite on topic but it brought back a memory...

I remember when I was really little, I climbed up on the kitchen counter and I was eating the flintstones vitamins like they were candy. Man, they were so delicious. Then my mom came in and yelled at me, but by then i'd eaten most of the bottle. I actually haven't had them since I was about 6. I kind of want to try them now...

I take the same prenatals!!! Lol.....Did you know that they increase the birth weight of your baby!?!? Lol...I want a large baby though.....

Those were the only one's that didn't make me hurl!! Even though they are ginormous!!!!
