HIV/AIDS can’t be transmitted by French kissing because the virus is not present in the saliva in such large quantities as it is in the blood, sperm or vaginal secretions. However, if at any time during French kissing there occurs biting with bleeding... there is a risk for infection. When you next visit your doctor, you can specify what area of the body you are considering in order to learn more about the possible risk of transmission...risk factors increase or decrease according to the location of contact.
