I have read on plannedparenthood.Com that most people will clear their hpv virus through their immune system within 2 years. Does that mean you are clean of the hpv and genital warts that come with it? Or is hpv/genital warts something that will stay with you for the rest of your life???? Please help =(

From what I have learned in health classes, herpes stays with you for life. Your best bet is to go to planned parenthood and get tested if you think you have it.

Your body can fight off the hpv virus.. You could hae a breakout once have them removed and never have one again... I thinks its fair to say after a resonable amount of time ( years) w/o a breakout your body has fough off the virus. If its high risk, only a pap on a female can tell, if its warts if you dont have them then you wont know if you still carry the virus ( they biospy the warts) talk to your doc to be sure.
