Confused About Menstrual Cycle/ovulation Posted: 02-26-06 21:09pm
I'm quite sure this has been asked before
but I am newly married. I started my
period on feb. 11 and my period ended
feb. 13th. I had sex for the first
time with my husband (or attempted to) on
feb. 14th. I couldn't relax (nervous I
guess) so I got on top of him to be more
comfortable. He did not fully penetrate
me (not relaxed enough) but he did
ejaculate on my vagina. From reading
various ovulation sites I am supposed to
ovulate 14 days after the my period. I
am supposed to have ovulated yesterday,
the 26th. I have seen no egg white mucus
at all. I had on again offgain cramping
for about 3 days that started on the 20
and ended on the 22/23rd and I did had a
couple of sharp pains on the left lower
side of my abdmen that lasted just a few
minutes around that time also. But no
mucus discharge associated with ovulation.
Is it possible to become preggers by
having sex the day after your period
ended?? I have no symptoms associated
with pregnancy (swollen breasts, etc.)

It's not likely that you would get
pregnant sd early in your cycle.

Thank you for the response. I still
haven't had any mucus discharge egg white,
clear, nothing at all. What's that all
about?

Okay this morning I went to the bathroom,
wiped myself and saw very small amount of
blood. Not even red but a light pink
color. Only when I wiped, then it
stopped. I am not due to have my period
until sometime next week. I have been
cramping a little. Could this be that
implantation bleeding that I have read
about or what. Very confused....
