Gland Disorders Answer A542
The symptoms you describe can be caused by hypo function of the thyroid gland ...but since the thyroxin level is within normal range, neurotic depression is a diagnostic possibility. Under the supervision of your physician, you can continue to take pills against high blood pressure and high cholesterol regularly. The best way that you can help yourself, however, is to decrease your body weight. Weight is connected with all three conditions: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and depression. And if you'd like to consider depression as a diagnostic possibility, you can follow up with a mental health professional for more information.
