Hello I wanted to ask some opinions about whether or not I can ever become pregnant at the age of 27. I had a partial hysterectomy 3 yrs ago with the removal of my right ovary and fallopian tube. I still have my uterus, cervix, left ovary and fallopian tube. Two weeks ago I had a hsg done and my fallopian tube is open. I have not taken bcp for 7 months now and now taken prenatal pills. My fiance has the xyy chromosome genetic disorder which is supposedly not klinefilter's syndrome xxy. He is 36 years old and from his 1st marriage he was told that his sperm count was low in his late 20's. We have been having unprotected sex for 6 months now and I am still not pregnant. We have an appointment with an advanced infertility clinic but that is not until april. I am very impatient but they offer pgd which is pre-genetic diagnosis. This is supposed to help with the best selection of the embryos to perform ivf. I want to keep my hopes up but I am not sure what to do. Should I keep trying to get pregnant on my own or should I wait to see the infertility center in april?
