Hi, I am pregnant but confused, you see my last menstral cycle was in late august, which would cause me to ovulate in early october. I have taken about 7 preg. Test and all came out neg. Finally I decided to reuest a blood test even if it meant paying for it I needed to know. I took my blood test on dec. 6. My next appointment was on dec. 21, they said that my hcg came back positive. So I was basically asumming that I was about 15 to 16 weeks, but they couldn't find a heartbeat. They day after that I started spotting so I went to the er. Accordingly to them i'm about 6 to 7 weeks which doesn't make sense. I quess my question is can I become pregnant even with out my period. To the best of my knowledge a women doesn't ovulate if she doesn't get her period. So how do they figure that I am the amount of weeks that I am. Could I be the 16 weeks and maybe there is something wrong with the baby, it could be a reason why they didn't find a heartbeat. I'm trying to be optimistic, but i'm scared. Can any one help me.
