You very best bet is to find a reproductive endocrinologist in your area. They are fertility specialists and have far more education in the field of fertiltiy than an ob/gyn does.
If you are not getting your period, there is more than likely an imbalance in your hormones. Many times that is easily dealt with...But only through a specialist.
Sometimes...Women with weight issues also have pcos, which is a hormonal imbalance that prevents normal ovulatory cycles.
