I miscarried in october 2005 due to a blighted ovum. I took mifeprestone to speed up the miscarriage process, but it didn't work, so I had a vacuum-type procedure my doctor called a "carmen" done on 10/31. When I didn't have a period after 10 weeks, my doc. Put me on a 10-day cycle of provera. I started my period on the 11th day, january 28. I ovulated (according to cervical mucus monitoring) about 10 days later on february 6. However, since jan. 28, I have continued to expel clots and brown/dark red blood. I also had a very painful bout of period-like stomach cramps over a 5-day period from feb. 14-18. I am now on day 25 of this bleeding/clotting. Is this normal? Also, is it possible that I could conceive while I was ovulating if I was still expelling all this material? Please help, i'm so confused.
