I've been trying for a year to have a baby. I know people say when you stop trying then it actually happens well it hasn't. It kind of gets to the point where I start to think does god not want me to be a mommy. all my friends and family had no problems at all getting pregnant. And they all tell me i'll be a wonderful mother. But why hasn't it happend. I'm so depressed and it's putting a lot of stress on me. My fiance' keeps telling me the baby is waiting for the right moment but how long do I have to wait. Does anyone out there know what i'm going through or can relate to this. I just need some major advice. :(
luv....Bree

It took us 1 1/2 years with my first plus a miscarriage. Have you seen a doctor yet. There are some tests that they can run to see if there is a problem. I recommend being seen. That is what helped us. We are into month #2 of trying for #2 but I am not waiting, I have an appt to see a doctor on monday.

Yes, i've seen a doctor. 3 of them. Everything seems to be ok. They say i'm fertile and i'm ovulating it's just not happening yet. It's really hard right now to get a good doctor where I live. We were hit hard by hurricane katrina and are still building back. My town is pretty much gone. So all the expert doctors left for better jobs. Sounds sad huh. But for now we're just praying for a little angel. Thanks and keep in touch. It feels better knowing i'm not alone in this. :)

I haven't had any serious tests yet. Like I mentioned earlier its hard to see a doctor down here. I just received a new insurance so im hoping I get a good doctor now. Its so scary not knowing if theres a serious problem or if its something little that can be fixed. All my other doctors kind of acted like they didn't want to hear my problem so they all said im fine and just to keep up with my ovulating and take folic acid. But how do I even know when im ovulating. Im sorry everyone im pouring out non-sence but its so stressful. Well anyone wanting to write back please do.... Lol thanks.

You could try those home ovulation predicter kits. At least then you'd know if and when you're ovulating. They're pricey but it might help. Also, it takes longer than people think to conceive. Unfortunately I think it's wicked easy for some and very frustrating when you hear people say "we only had sex once and here we are!" or "we weren't even trying!" and for others it seems like it takes forever. The first time it took me 8 months and by then i'd given up and decided something was wrong with either me or my fiance. Sadly we lost that pregnancy which made it all 100 times worse. Maybe you should just try the ovulation kits and try for a few more months and then if nothing has happened you should go in for testing or fertility aids. Good luck!

If you get your insurance going and can find a good doctor, there are some fairly easy tests that you can have done. After about 14 months of trying for us they tested dh's sperm, which turned out fine. I had an hsg test which was a little unpleasant but not to bad. It turned out that my cervix was blocked. Can't get pregnant with a blocked cervix. The doctor cleared it right there at the test. Then, I had blood tests done and found out that I wansn't ovulating so I did a round of clomid, got pregnant, lost the baby but then was pregnant again in two months.

It is very frustrating when you have been trying for over a year. I would recommend having those basic tests done just to make sure everything is ok.

.God have mercy. Ease her heart and mind--give her the assurance that you have all things under control.

Give to her the hearts desires, she so longs for--that her joy might be full.

Thank you .God

the Lord Will Bless You With a Beautiful Angel This Year
Dear friend,

i can put myself in your shoes and feel what you go through. When we expect it to happen, it doesnt, but when we did not expect it to happen, it is the good lord who makes it happen through miracles.

I have personally known friends who became pregnant after a few years of depression. Sometimes, thinking about it too much may make situations worse. Just trust that you are going to have a baby and be cheerful. That would give you a better result.

I do not know which religion you follow. But pray with me, and there is assurance from the lord that he is the provider. He is the one who creates says the word in isiah 45:12

isiah 45:12 "i have made the earth, and created man upon it: i, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded"

do not worry. His hands are on you. He is the jehovah jireh. The word says that he will be with you always. Trust on his word and you will get what you wanted this year.

Best wishes and I will pray along with you dear sister

regards

Kiklis2k is right. You should have faith. Do you try to check to a gyno its has a better explaination in your case. Or if you want as them to the expect what best people who can help you. It is best to have a idea than it nothing. So if I were you can try this one while waiting for your baby

I hoped this can help you to your depression. And the almighty help you. And god bless!!!!

I want to thank everyone so much. I have strong faith in god but I do sometimes question him. Example why do 12 years old get to have babies when their babies them selves. And why do we have to feel the pain of not being able to hear the wonderful words of "i love you mommy". It's just hard to beleive. But I do plan on seeing a new doctor soon and i've heard he's very good. Everyone keep in touch and I wish you all the same luck. Love bree

Hello bree,

i am in a similar situation as you as well. My sister has a beautiful baby girl she is now 2 years old. I have been trying for the past couple of months with no luck. Reason being is that I am not too sure as to when ovulation happened and stress didnt help at all either. I bought the ovulation kit and have been using it for 2 months. Try not to stress and try the kit. It works and helps you pinpoint your ovulation date. Which is important
