I'm currently on birth control and I haven't miss any pills. I was sick with a cold about 2 weeks ago and was taking some cold medicine for a few days. I got my period a day earlier than usual but it was really dark brown through out it all and lasted more than it usually does. I thought it was over with so I had sex but bleed dark brown afterwards, it wasn't much though, then I was spotting for a couple of more days, then I thought my period was over with again so I had sex again and had some dark brown discharge when I wiped with a tissue. After that I spotted dark brown and it had been lighter but still dark brown for a few days. My breast started feeling a little heavy and getting light cramps so I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I haven't been spotting since 2 days ago but my breast feel really tender and i'm still having light cramps. It fells like i'm about to get my period but I usually have these symptoms one week before I get my period but it's 3 weeks before I get my next period. Is it possible that I could be pregnant? Someone suggested that I might have to switch birth control. Any ideas? Thanks for your help
