To me it would seem it's the anxiety but I do understand your concerns. I was convinced for a time that there was something else 'wrong' with me but that's part and parcel of anxiety disorders.
I do believe that mindset also plays a huge part in these things (i believe it has with me)
is there anyway you could be tested for whatever conditions you think it could be possible causing your pain?

I've been tested for stuff before, for a variety of conditions, and once the tests come back normal the symptoms usually go away. I'm so sick of getting test after test, but I also feel like this could be the time when it really is something bad. If I take xanax though the symptoms seem to go away or at least subside a little, so just wondering cuz I wasn't sure if a real medical problem would go away w/ a med. Thanks!

Don't worry, a xanax isn't going to mask a real medical problem. If it helped, it definitely suggests that the problem is anxiety, and not a heart problem (or something else)!

Sometimes it's easier to think it's a real medical problem, because those can be "easier" to deal with. (i know it doesn't make much sense on the outside, because cancer isn't easy to deal with, but it's got a concrete treatment, while anxiety is psychological, and isn't as concrete.)
