Hi it's andy. Me and my girlfriend had sex today, the day after her period. She told me after we had sex that she missed one pill and took it the next day right when she woke up because thats when she remembered. We had sex today with no condom ( dont ask why ) and I pull out. I'm really scared, is my girlfriend pregnant?

Really couldnt tell you...There is a chance because her missing her pill and you not using a condom..Its called pre-cum!....So my advice would be to wait a coupleday/weeks and her take a hpt...And also one reminder ...Always use a condom ..And dont have sex when she "accidently" misses her pill..

Theres really no way to tell right now. I wouldn't worry to much though she probably isn't even pregnant. Especially since she wasn't ovulating around that time. So don't stress, im sure everyhing will be okay. But to be on the safe side I wouldn't trust the pull out method, and birth control isn't 100% affective, so keep that in mind.

Missed Pill
She told me a little while after that she missed and iron pill and I should of mentioned that. I dont know what an iron pill is, but is that ok if she missed that type of pill?

Tea I dont see how an iron pill ( I assume it would be the mineral iron some ppl take it if thier iron is low siince it can cause health issues with your blood) would affect her being pregnant. She sounds a little to "concerned" about being pregnant. Definately get over the pull out method thats how I was concieved and if thats all your using I would b careful it doesnt sound like shes working really hard to take her medicine on time

I think she means she missed the pill you should take on your period week....Like all my pills were white and then it had 7 placebo pills (sometimes they have minerals in them)

Yea..My Dr. Told me back in the day that you don't have to take those because they are actually sugar pills and that's what causes weight gain when you begin birth control in the pill form....I always took them though cuz I wasn't taking any chances back then.....

Missed Pill
So that means I should be ok then right? Since it was just a mineral type pill?

Yes. I've missed those before. The purpose of those are mainly just to keep you in your routine of taking them. If you miss a week of taking them sometimes it's hard to remember to start again when your period is over. So they just made a pill that doesn't have anything in it to keep you in the routine of things. Some companies put minerals in them though, because they think that if you are going to take a pill you should get something out of it like a mineral your body needs.

Birth control is not 100%.There is a very slim chance she can be but not likely.
