Q: Could Be Pregnant???

I'll try to keep this short, but there's a lot to tell.

1. My fiancee and I do really well when it comes to not having unprotected sex, but we goof up every once in a while (i know...Not too smart)

2. Last friday night, she got sick. We're not sure if it was a stomach virus or what, but she was very nauseous and had a really bad headache. She vomited two or three times.

3. She was feeling better on saturday and we had sex twice, both times we used a condom.

4. Sunday morning, she started feeling like she had a urinary tract infection and by that night she was pretty certain that it was a uti. She also started noticing some clear discharge with a little blood in it (she didn't say whether it was brown or pink, but i'm guessing pink), but that was gone this morning.

If it weren't for the blood in the discharge, I wouldn't be too worried. I know that implantation bleeding can occur around a week after ovulation and that's about when it happened. But doesn't "typical" implantation bleeding usually last for two or three days and isnt it usually brown in color? I also know that the sex from the day before could be the cause for the blood, as could the uti. Her period isn't due until the end of the week, so it is too soon for a home pregnancy test. Too much happened all at once for us to make any informed judgment as to what's going on. Can someone more informed give us some kind of interpretation.

Tia.

Hi there! It sounds like your girlfriend needs to see a Dr. I am no Dr. But it is very possible that she has a uti if she misses her next period she might want to do a hpt, she also might want to be drinking some cranberry juice, but she should see a Dr. Of course I had two periods and I was pregnant.
Good luck!
Keep us posted!

I agree with sandyallen she needs to go to doctors in case of uti while there she could mention that there is a possiblity of pregnancy.
If not take a hpt, first response can be took 4 days before missed period.
Good luck

Thanks for the replys. She's feeling a lot better now since starting on some antibiotics. She says she's experiencing her normal symptoms before her period starts (we both realize that pms symptoms and early pregnancy signs can be similar), so hopefully that'll begin sometime soon so we can take a deep breath. I'll let everyone know what we find out.

Thanks again for the help.

She started her period today....We were both beginning to get a little worried. She's getting on the pill in about two weeks so hopefully this'll be the last time we have what we consider a close call.

Thanks to everyone.
