I was told I had slight protein in urine and that my blood pressure was and has been normal. I have no swelling whatsoever. What could be causing this?

Well I went to my doctors appt today she said that I am 33.4 weeks along. The good thing is that I dident have protein in my urine today and that my blood pressure was great it was like 110/74 or something like that. I was very happy to hear this. I only had protein in my urine one time so far what could have caused this?

I have had protein in my urine 4 times now and it is very upsetting. It started at week 15 of my pregnancy and I had it 3 times in a row of 1 . My blood pressure was always normal with no swelling. Then I started doing clean catches and the next 3 visits it was gone.....Now I went yesterday and I had trace (even with a clean catch ) everything else is still normal so I don't know what is causing it. The docs don't really even talk about it. They must not be concerned

Hi I also had this happen to me during the third trimester of my pregnancy..Swelling..High blood pressure and protein in the urine are all signs of preeclampsia...I never had high blood pressure before but it is common to have it while pregnant and it goes away after you have the baby..If you end up with all three symptoms..Not traces of protein but actual protein the doctor will probably induce you early...If you have 2/3 then more than likely you will be fine and that's why your doctor is not showing any real concern..Good luck and happy delivery=) tiffany
