1st cheap ones work just as well as expensive ones so congrats. 2 yes your family will be upset but they will get over it trust me. My grandpa had alredy paid for my college and expected a lot from me and right now im not even finishing high school (not cuz I got pregnant but that didnt help) and 3 yes babies are hard work but lucky 4 u the government offers enough assistance to make it possible. U need insurance so if your family doesnt have any get on medicaid you should also get on wic even if u stay with your mom just to help out some (thats what my sister in law does and she 24!) if u really want your baby then im sure u can do it and this forum is a great place for support good luck and dont wait to tell your mom the more u prolong it the worse the reaction is gunna b

If the test read positive, then you're pregnant!

13 is a very young age, but you need to talk to someone who can help you figure out what to do next. I know you're scared, but please speak to someone you trust and in position(like a teacher, counselor, doctor) to be able to help.

Maybe rethinking the whole "sex" issue will also help.

If your pregnancy test says postitive then you are pregnant, false postitives are very rare.
I know it is hard but you must tell your mum, she will be angry but she cant stay like that forever! I think alot of parents say they will kick there children out if they get pregnant just to try to prevent them from doing so!
Be brave, 13 is very young and you will need her support.

This is why everyone is so against teen pregnancy, because little girls keep getting knocked up. At 13 you can't even get a job, you can't even get your permit here until you're 15. Basically her mommy is going to be supporting her and her kid which is beyond sad...

I couldnt agree more dalicia the guy I lost my virginity 2 was a total ass and just made for lts of heartache. I played barbies til I was like 12! Yea its too young I think. My best friend started having sex with this 19yr old when she was only 13. I was shocked but its like neither of us really understood everything about sex, and he was just using her. He made her think it was ok to do it at 13.

I'm sorry babe that you're pregnant...It's so easy to get in a situation where you want to have sex. Things can progress so fast. Me and my boyfriend were just making out and then before I knew it I had lost my virginity! And that was something that I totally hadn't planned on doing til I was married.
