Son no1 said 'duck' before anything else! It was his rubber ducky in the bath! We had been playing with it and he just came out and said it!
Son no2's first words were 'more' he used to say it whenever he wanted more juice.

lol!! I call my son booger snot and booger monster. Not really sure why. He thinks it's pretty funny though!

He wasn't mimicking me calling him rugrat, i've never done that. It was actually his first birthday that he said rugrat, it was when rugrats came on tv. Which was weird to me because we never really watched it.

Well, i'm still pregnant, so my baby obviously hasn't started talking yet.

but my neice molly just turned 1 in january, and her first word was "baby"...Cause thats what we call her. Close after that she started saying "puppy"...But the funny thing about it, is that she only whispers "puppy" and won't actually say it. But if you say it to her, she'll repeat it back in whispers...And then go look for the puppy. She's hilarious.

Lol!! My neice's first word was mama and then dadda. The next thing she learnt how to say was 'no way!!'. It too funny! She's now 2 (just turned on saturday) and can literally talk to you in phrases. I went with her and my sister in law to the docs and doc asked if she'd tried to say any words yet. We had to laugh...This little girl has a full vocabulary...Asks for everything by name and can even say things like 'harmonica'. She just amazes me! I can't wait for my little bundle of joy...7 more months to go. :)

Amanda's (mandy) first word was "moomoo" because her mommom got her this stuffed cow and she just loved it so much! Although, insteed of saying cow we called it a moomoo so she would get all excited and shout moomoo it was so adorable.
