Hello just wondering..Coz I really really don't want to be preggo...I'm 17 turning 18 w/n 2 months...I'm in college and planning to go to medical school...I really don't want to be preggo..I'm on birth control just recently and just got divirginized...I'm wondering if you know some people who got preggo while on birth control...???

And would you also give me an advice...
Do you think I should still continue having sex or should just go for abstinence...I know it's hard coz sex is damn gooood...But I really am concerned about my future and abortion is against my religion...Please also give me an advice on how to tell my bf that I deciced that I would stop having sex and how to restrain myself of doing it...Because I really like it...Maybe more than he does...Lol...;-) any advice would be greatly apppreciated...

Hi there! I do not know if you realize this or not but you did post this in the mens forum, not that it matters but yes you can get pregnant on b/c pills nothing is 100% except abstinence, if you feel you are pg you should talk to your Dr. As I am no Dr. And if you are preggars discontinue using your b/c pills as far as the sex thing, that is your choice. Have you taken a home pregnancy test. If you are missing your period that could be because of stress too.

It is possible but highly unlikely. On average the % of reliability of most birth control pills when taken on-time all the time is around 95%

if you use additional protection such as a condom which has a % of effectiveness between 70-80% then you are extremely safe.



As the above poster said nothing is 100% but with dual protection you can get pretty damn close.

..I did !!! I have an 7 month old now :wink: but I dont regret him and im still going to college ..He is the greatest thing to me and I will still get to accomplish my dreams..So everything worked out perfectly
