My doctor told me robitussin was ok to use while pregnant. Before I saw her and knew I could use robitussin, I used hot lemonade or hot apple juice with a little honey and drank it slow. That worked well for me.

Yes....My Dr. Prescribed robitussin dm...(alcohol free)...Little did I know I could;ve taken benadryll to soothe some of my other symptoms!!! I thought it was listed as childrens benadryll so I didn't bother....It was just a typo so I had to bare my congestion and horrible cough!!! Lol...I was soo pissed when I found out I could've taken benadryll to help me fall and stay asleep with a cough!!

So yea....Robitussin is ok for pregnant women...And in your case it is totally safe...

I am sure I have read somewhere on here that women recommend others take it while ttc because it thins out the linings in your uterus apparently!

I have been sick for the last week and a half and called my dr and they said that I could take robitussin dm for my cold and benadryll for itchy eyes and alageries/sleep if needed. However every dr is different and will tell you that you may take something else. Just ask if it's alright for you.
