When Is It Safe to Bleach My Hair Again? Posted: 02-18-06 14:08pm
I bleached my hair for the first time in
the beginning of november, and since then
I have put dye in it twice. However, I
really liked the color I had before the
dye went in, and I have been contemplating
bleaching a second time, but I have no
idea how much my hair will suffer if it's
too soon to do so.
I know there's no "safe time" to bleach
your hair, but I am wondering if it may be
too soon. My roots have come back in
about 2 inches since I bleached, but I can
still see where it's blonde in the middle
and the bottom. I have not noticed any
damage in my hair or its quality, with the
exception of split ends that I had prior
to bleaching. My hair isn't weaker, nor
has it become brittle - it seems to have
held up okay through the bleaching, and it
honestly does not feel any different than
it did before.
Also, if this helps at all, the dye I used
both times was manic panic, which I know
does not do nearly as much damage to the
hair as most other dyes because of its
"natural" content.
What would you guys say? Is it too soon
to bleach again? I'd sincerely appreciate
absolutely any advice.
