Q: Can I Regain Movement in the Top 1/3 of My Finger?

I got stiches in the top 1/3 of my finger last week and now I cannot bend the last section of that finger is this normal and should it bend once i get the stiches out?

It is very important to gauge your ability to bend the last section of the finger RIGHT AFTER you hurt it. If you weren’t able to bend it then, you probably won't be able to bend it after getting the stitches out. This occurs when a tendon is cut. Treatment of a ruptured tendon can be very difficult. You can consult your surgeon for follow up,
