I know it's hard but tell her not to stress...This can cause her period to come even later....Tell her also not to start jumping to conclusions...The symptoms she's having could be signs of her period...
It being late may have an underlying issue related to it besides pregnancy (.I.E: ovarian cysts)....If she takes another test and it comes back neg. Again tell her to call her ob/gyn or primary care physician and schedule a blood test....This will be almost fool proof

I agree with babymajic, tell her to wait a week or so and take another hpt if it does come back with a neg. Then she may need to see her gyn to make sure that there aren't any other reasons that she may have missed her period.

All you can do is be supportive to her and help her out. Dont' add to her stress if you can help it. Don't show that you may be stressed out too.

Yeah I probably should have mentioned too that we've never actually had penetrative sex too. I did think on one instance though where, something could have been passed on during oral sex but that was when her period was due, we have been really careful any other time than that. And she did say she had been feeling stressed, and I suppose her diet's not too great being a student. Lol, sweeeties! :) I think im just a worrier by heart, I will get her to take another test in a few days, and keep fingers crossed, I hope there should be no problem,

Just curious...What do you mean when you say you were worried something would be passed on through oral sex? The only way would be if you managed to get sperm in your mouth and then went down on her. That would be next to impossible I think. Thing is...If she was worried about this even before her period was due...That would explain why it might not have arrived. Stress, as some have already said, can prevent her period from starting. As for the breasts swelling...That could also be because she's so convinced that she's preggo (because of the late period)...That she even has her body convinced. Her body could even start producing hormones because of this that would make her breast swell (even make the belly swell too). I hope all works out. But if her period hasn't started soon...I would recommend that she goes to the doctor to be sure. Odds are though...She's just stressin' too much! Good luck to you both. What I meant by the oral sex thing was that cleaning up after I had ejaculated, I could have got some on my hands, im not sure that I washed them, I did wipe them tho, and then inserted a finger during her oral sex. I didnt make that very clear, I hope it is just stress and I shall let you all know, thanks a bunch :)
