Q: 1st Dr Appt

Ok I had my first dr appt today and he said he didnt think that I was as far as they were guessing which would be 15 weeks tom. So he said he was gonna try to hear the heartbeat so he tried using that doppler and he couldnt find it do you think this is a bad thing?? Or maybe im just not far enough to hear it or what cuz I dont have an ultra sound scheduled until next friday but I may be able to have it done on monday bc I didnt really like my dr so I had another appt scheduled 4 next week with another one just in case but I was just wondering yalls oppinions

Hey...
Well they couldn't little james's heartbeat either b/c the way he was positioned so they used the ultrasound to check and make sure he was alright! I think if they thought anything was wrong they'd do an ultrasound! Well good luck!

hey when I had my first docs appointment they couldnt hear his heartbeat.. She said I wasnt that far along.. My uterus was tipped back or I had a miss misscarriage but everything turned out to be fine:d since I just had him 2 days ago lol sometimes doctors need more powerful equipement thats all no worries hun I will be fine lol when this happened to me I was 12 weeks and 6 days along lol keep ur head up and let us know:d

I wouldn't worry about not hearing a heartbeat yet. I didn't hear mine until I was about 12 weeks and even then it took a long time to find it. If your Dr. Thought there was any need to worry they would've done an ultrasound. I'm sure eveything is fine! :d
