I came down with the bad flu that is going around, down w/fever for 5 days. Went back to work 1/2 days for a week and never got stronger, actually got worse. Re-visited dr and was told I had a very low white blood cell count and a high mono cell count. It has been almost four weeks and have only marginally gotten better. What does it take to get over this and how long should it take. Dr. Said it was consistent with a bad viral infection and would just take time and rest, but i've got to work any thing else I can do to treat the fatigue and aches would be appreciated. Thanks.

Flu
I've found a natural remedy called "echinacea" to not only assist in recovery times when suffering from colds/flu but also to boost immunity and has stopped me from having any colds this winter at all which is very unusual for me, it may be worth a try if you are having such a long recovery period. I dont usually entertain natural methods of treatment but I have to say this one has had me thinking otherwise. An increased dosage of iron over this period may also assist in upping your energy levels both of these are available over the counter.

Aged Garlic!
It is good indeed! Smile
aged garlic is the extract of fresh, whole garlic aged in alcohol. It contains all of the natural goodness from whole fresh garlic, and if administered correctly, without the unpleasant aftertaste or odor!

I have some pages that sell aged garlic:
edit

try it!!!

Flu
I prefer taking fresh garlic. It has a great value in fighting all kinds of cold, flu and infection. I give it even to my kids. Some people do not like how it smell, but you can chew parsely or fresh ment, anis seeds. This will help in getting rid of the bad smell that comes out of the mouth.

Waooooooooo try it

Please do not buy from that website tina is recommending!!!. This sounds like they want your credit card number. A website that sells prescription drugs without prescription is most likely a fraud.

These people are just trying to advertise their website. If you check their messages (tina, nancy and dutchman) they're always recommending that website. Oh and they're also new members too.

How pathetic!!! Making money out of people's miseries!!!

Ps do these forums have an a moderaror that can erase their messages?
