Q: Coughing When Eyes Close

I have not had a nap in 4 years. When I close my eyes, about 3 to 5 min. Later I cough and continue until I just say it's not worth the nap. At night I watch tv laying down, when it's time to sleep I close my eyes in the same position and in 3 to 5 min. I cough. I have to lay on my stomach and after 5 to 10 coughs I fall asleep. I have been to 4 doctors, had a mri on my head and no answers. Help!!!!!!!!

Hi

have you seen a doctor about the possibility of gastroesophageal reflux disease? Gerd might be causing the chroic cough.
