Good morning,
i just had my cycle last week but I have heard 3 stories in the last week of people who still had their cycle while they were pregnant. In the last 2 months I have gained 7 pounds and last night I was spotting.....I know I should just go get a test but I think I am in denial.......Plus when I mention all of this to a friend she said that her pregnancy test was negative but when she went to the doctors she was in fact 4 weeks .......So my question is ...Is it possible to be pregnant and still have a cycle and is it normal to spot....A week after my normal full cycle..... Laughing

Hi! My mother had her usual full blown af during the first two to three months in all three of her pregnancy's. I also had spotting and bleeding 4 days after my af was due and cramping through out...And i've had two positive hpt's. All women are different. If you think there's a chance that you're preggo...By all means...Buy a test! As for your friend who tested and got a negative result when she was preggo...Some women do not have enough of the pregnancy hormone to be detected by a hpt until they are 6 weeks. The tests at the doctors are a lot more sensitive and blood tests will always know for sure. If you take a hpt and comes back negative...Go to the doc's if you still think that you might be preggo.

I hope this helps. :)

Yep, I think that's the only way you'll know for sure. Good luck!
