Q: Need Answers Please

Hello all I am new and have a question. I stoped taking birth control in november of 05 due to the fact that it makes me sick in fact all forms of birth control makes me sick . I was on the pill and just wanted to know how long it is supposed to take to get your period back . Because I still havent gotten mine. Please help.

It varies from women to women. Have you always had regular periods or irregular, prior to the birth control? I myself stopped in nov also and I had 2 normal period and then one irregular (10 days to early) so far. I always had normal periods prior to birth control. It's crazy how stopping the pill can mess you up so bad. I wouldn't let it go to long without seeing the doctor just to be on the safe side.

No they were always regular before I would get them every 28 to 30 days when I wasent on birth control . So how much longer do you think I should wait . Becasue unlike you I havent even had a peroid /spotting nothing . I have also taken several pegnancy test and all came out negative . Im really starting to worry and some more adivice would be helpfull

Extremely eHealthy
See a doctor, planned parenthood will see you for reduced cost. Also check into an iud as birth control.No hormones.

When I went off the pill, it took 6 months before I got a regular period, and I was always regular before. You probably have nothing to worry about (especially since you said you've taken pregnancy tests that have been negative). It can't hurt to go see your doctor, but try not to stress to much. Your body is just trying to get back to funtioning with its own hormones instead of the artificial one from the pill.
