Hey everyone! I hope everything has been going well here while I was gone. I got released from the hospital this afternoon and I just wanted to update. I'm sure you're all just dying to know the details, right? Lol. Well, here they are!

Molly megan grimson
6lb, 2oz
18.5 inches
born at 2:44am on feb. 12, 2006.

My labor was soooooo long. Seriously, it was crazy! But once I finally got dialated enough, I only had to push for 20 minutes. The doctor said she just "fell out" but it sure didn't feel like she just "fell out." lol. But overall, it was worth it. Her scores were a little low at 1 and 5 minutes... She only got a 6 at 1 minute and 7 at 5, but by 10 minutes, she was at a 9, so she's pretty great now. I had some problems during and after labor with loss of consciousness (yea yea... I fainted. How embarassing!) because of that, they decided to keep me an extra day to make sure I was going to be okay, but now molly and I are both home and doing well. She's already a cheerful little girl. Soooooo... Who wants to see pictures?!? Give me 5 minutes to figure out how to post them and you'll be able to see my lovely little girl!

Aww how cute is she!! Well done ella congrats! Im so emotional at the moment, I cry seeing these new babies lmao

what pain relief did you have during the contractions as you said it was long? And during the actual delivery? ...Im going to be screaming my head off unless I have an epidural. Did they have to cut you or did you need stitches or they use forceps or anything like that?

aww, thanks! She's a pretty baby, if I may say so! Lol, just kidding!

I did have an episiotomy, but it wasn't that bad, really. And I caved in around 6 hours of labor and decided that it was time for an epidural, lol! And no forceps. Molly was facing the wrong way for awhile, but she turned on her own, so that was pretty nice. Overall, the birthing experience itself wasn't too bad. Painful at times, but not to the point that i'd never do it again. I'm totally going to have more kids later. It was sooooo worth it.

Ariella, how long are you taking off school now so you can stay home to look after her? And when you go back, who is going to babysit her in the day? Do you have 2 years left of school?

I'm only going to take 3 weeks off of school because I missed so much while I was on bedrest. And yea, I have 2 years left, plus some summer classes to make up for the time I lost with the baby. Jenny, my youth pastor's wife is going to watch molly for me while i'm at school. Her son seth is about a month older than molly and jenny's mother comes over during the day to help with her baby, so she invited me to bring mine over too. And she's so generous that she's not going to charge me for it because she knows I can't afford it. She's so good to me.

Thanks for all the comments, ladies!
