Disturbed local blood circulation in the inner ear (cochlea) can cause a ringing sensation in the ear. Chronic sound trauma (permanent exposure to noise) damages the inner ear and causes the ear to ring. High blood pressure manifest as ringing in the ears, too. You can visit an ENT-specialist if you are concerned about this symptoms. You can also regularly check your blood pressure.
