My breast have just recently started to itch, mostly right when I get out the shower. Why is this?

Mine will also do this especially during the winter, I think that it is due to taking warmer showers.

Is it normal for a lil bit of sweat between breasts after exercising or being someplace hot to make them itchy?

Itchy Breasts
Ok ladies I had/have itchy breasts and am taking Avaine, bc pill, I went to my doctor because I was very worried about inflammatory breast cancer but she assured me that I was healthy. She suggested lowering my salt intake and making sure I am getting plenty of calcium, magnesium and folate. Take a women's multi- vitamin. Take one that is approved by USP standards. This is important because many vitamins/minerals are not what they claim to be. The USP assures that they are legitimate. However, after making these changes I am still uncertain if the itching is related to the Aviane. I have used nuvaring, ortho tri cyclen and the orthro tri lo and never had this issue. Make sure you moisturize your breasts too with a gentle lotion. My doc also suggested this. Hope this helps.

are your little bumps just bumps or are they harder???? it's common to get cysts on your nipples there very itchy and become rather large try not to pop it cause it scares but most of the time it will either shrink or pop on it's own....if it pops on it's own don't worry the stuff inside is a brownish colour kindda scary looking but once it's all out it shouldn't come back!!!

ok dudettes
looks like its normal to have itchy breasts, most of it sounds like your breasts are either growing or their dry, put on some gental non fragrance lotion and put it on your breasts, i perfer my whole body, after you take a shower... oh and the coldness of the lotion on your nipples (f.y.i) feels soooooo good after a whole night of itching!

Possible Causes of Itchy Breasts
I don't believe growth would cause them to itch if your a grown women unless your pregnant. Look at your salt intake- fast food and processed foods are the worse as we all know. Also consider the type of birth control your using if any. If your breasts have a reddish rash it could be a yeast infection on the skin- my pharmacist suggested using a anti-fungal cream to obtain relief. Also consider the types of detergents, soaps, lotions and perfumes you use. The bottom line, if you have itchy breasts suddenly and you didn't before you may want to see your doc if your greatly concerned. You don't have to suffer. Also, if you have great swelling and warmth of the breast and rather quickly make sure you see a doc to rule out Inflammatory breast cancer. Although rare you may want to seek medical advice with those symptoms.
