Q: When is it Too Early to Detect Pregnancy on a HPT?
asked by: DoctorQuestion on February 13th, 2006
I was wondering, can you still get your period and be pregnant?
I would have conceived on jan 31. my period was due feb 17 and I started to get a pinkish red flow on the 11th. I had all the signs of pregnancy. If I were to be pregnant, would it be too soon to detect on a hpt?

Results from pregnancy tests are valid 10 days after a possible conception or 5 days before an expected period date. This means that in your case ,any pregnancy test result made after the 10th of February is valid.
