I was wondering if drinking caffienated
drinks make you less fertile and harder to
conceive. Ive been drinking way less
already, also does sprite have caffiene?
Thanks.

Sprite is caffeine free. I'm not sure if
it affects fertility.

It is a little tougher to get pregnant
when drinking a lot of caffine. I read
it on a website. Even if you drink two
or three small glasses of soda or coffee
it could decrease your chances of getting
pregnant.

are you a coffee drinker? Time to give it
up or switch to decaf! Caffeine is
thought to restrict the growth of a
developing baby by constricting blood
vessels and reducing blood flow to the
uterus. What's more, a few studies have
indicated that excessive consumption of
caffeine (that is, more than three cups of
drip coffee per day) may contribute to
fertility problems.
I hope this helps. Good luck

Since sprite is still a type of soda ,
though no caffeine in it, then I should
avoid drinking too? It will decrease
chance conceiving too?

I think that you will be ok if you are
drinking caffeine free soda. I wouldn't
worry about.

I drink coffee and tea everymorning.
About 1 big mug. Do you think I am posing
a risk here. Sometimes I do drink in the
afternoon, maybe hafl a cup at most.

Babycenter.Com says no more than 3 cups of
coffee or 6 caffinated drinks when you are
pregnant. Not sure what the
recommenation is for ttc. I am limiting
mine to one cup of coffee or one soda a
day.

Yeah, I think I better cut down. I know
some gynea actually ask the patient to
abstain from caffeine totally.

Here are some sodas that do not have
caffine:
sprite, 7-up, any lemon-lime soda
root beer
ginger ale
grape pop
red pop
orange pop
also
gatorade
juice
kool aid
milk
oh and of course water:)
im sure u know most of that just tryin to
help :)
