I have had a pain in my lower left abdomen for about 6weeks. It got so bad 2 weeks ago my daughter took me to the hospital where they did various tests. After having x-rays, scans, etc. And iv antibiotics. They "think" it is diverticulitis and sent me home with pain killers. I am still in pain but they said that it would settle down. Do you think I should just wait for it to settle down? Or go for a second opinion. Has anyone else been through this before? Anne.Xx
