Yes, your symptoms warrant a visit to a doctor, as you may be experiencing acute conjunctivitis. Your doctor may prescribe eye-drops containing antiseptic and vasoconstrictor. If visiting your family doctor doesn’t help or doesn't result in a clear diagnosis, you can visit an ophthalmologist for an expert opinion.
